An Untitled and Perfectly-Legal Coming-of-Age Clown Parody Film
In the time honoured tradition of bootleg cinema like Superstar by Todd Haynes and fiercely-queer midnight movies a la Pink Flamingos, we’ve partnered with an infamous harlequin to bring you a secret (shhhhhh) presentation of one of this year’s most talked about and groundbreaking independent films. Punk as fuck, painstakingly autobiographical, deeply nerdy, psychotically hilarious, and surprisingly tearjerking, you would have to be absolutely batty to miss this rare chance to be among the few people in the world to see this movie!
The film will be introduced in person by Ruin Carroll (Poison Ivy). Ruin Carroll is a student nurse and former LGBTQIA+ outreach worker who spends most of their spare time watching weird movies, writing short fiction and making terrible music with their friends. They found Vera Drew by chance on twitter, and immediately fell in love with her work through her web series Hot Topics. They are always happy to collaborate on anything weird and queer, so feel free to say hey after the show and tell them about your project.
